My favorite food at College Hill Tavern

Sports are playing on the big screen, the air is cold and before you even sit down a server is on their way to you. As you are handed a menu, only one thing is crossing your mind…. This place serves crab Rangoon?!
The appetizer of all appetizer’s is a hidden gem in a place mostly known for it’s sports décor and barbecue. This delicious hidden gem keeps your mind occupied when your stomach growls and you want something good. College Hill Tavern, 1616 SW 17th St., serves Mama’s Crab Rangoon and they serve it right.
There are few things in the world that are as exquisite as a first bite into a warm, crunchy yet gooey crab Rangoon. When the basket holding around nine bite-size Rangoon’s reaches your table, you gaze on in wonder. How can small, fried dumpling looking things taste so good? Don’t wonder, just enjoy.
The key to this Rangoon is the dipping sauce. A mild, yet somewhat hot kick, rests on your tongue as you chew on the outer part of the Rangoon.
After you finish one, you are excited for another. This appetizer is that good, the photo’s don’t even do the taste justice.
